Patrick Joseph Connolly

On Thursday, January 2, 2020, PATRICK JOSEPH CONNOLLY of Falls Church, VA. Patrick was the beloved son of Kathleen B. Connolly of Falls Church, VA. He was the loving brother of Kate (Nathan) Clukey, of McLean, VA and Michael (Ellen) Connolly, of Falls Church, VA. He was also greatly loved by his nieces and nephews: Abigail, Samuel, Grace, Ella, Benjamin and Caleb Clukey; and Patrick, Ignatius, Penelope, Nicholas and Phoebe Connolly. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Connolly, and his sister, Sara Connolly. Patrick was born with intellectual and physical disabilities that became more severe in recent years. Even with these significant challenges, he was always happy and brought joy to everyone in his life. He will be greatly missed by his family, but they take comfort in the knowledge that he is now free from the physical constraints and discomfort he experienced in his life, and that he may now rest in peace.
