To the family and friends of Robert Horn. Time passes but memories of important people remain. 

Bob Horn was the lawyer who helped found the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washing DC.  Even though I took a photo of the Museum in 1994 with his name carved into the wall I did not meet him until 2003. 

Then we discussed the fact that were related. We all meet again in 2011 to visit Amenluxen and Lichtenau in Germany where our joint roots began.
Every time I open the book that I made of that trip I remember Bob with fondness.

When I first met Robert with his mother and wife in 2003 he was very suspicious of me because they all thought that most of the family had died during the Holocaust. 

When Bob learned how we were related he and his wife  joined us in 2011 in Lichtenau to discover our joint family roots. In 2012 I was able to give a copy of the photo Album that I made of our Lichtenau trip to his mother on the occasion of her 100th birthday. 

My best wishes go to Bob's family and hope that one day we can share family trees.
