Rodney was born on September 29, 1937 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Herman William Becker and Viola Lillian Trickle. Rodney grew up on a dairy farm, later serving in the United States Navy on the U.S.S Intrepid. He went on to become a highly successful accountant that specialized in income tax. A skilled entrepreneur, after retirement Rodney started his own business, Becker Tax Services, which he ran for many years. Rodney met his beloved wife, Sara Kay Counts, while serving at the Pentagon during his time in the Navy. He and Sara went on to build a family, and family was always at the very center of his life. He is survived by Sara, his wife of 62 years, son James Randolph "Randy" Becker and his wife Darby; daughter Tamara Lynn "Tammy" Cox and her husband Stephen, as well as 5 grandchildren: Addison and Ashton Becker, Lily, Kylan and Chloe Cox.
