Dr. Ryun Kim, 89, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lucy; sons Mark (Becky), Steve (Eileen), and Kevin; and grandchildren Ellen, Kyle, Lauren, Maya, Brian, Jacqueline, Dylan, Braden, Maxen, and Noah.
Ryun was born in Daegu, Korea, served as a medic in the Korean Conflict, and received a medical degree from Kyung-Buk National University. He came to the United States in 1956 and his medical partnership served as the radiology department for North Arundel Hospital from the 1960’s to the late 1990’s.
Ryun took up golf in the 1960’s and played many of the great courses with Lucy. In retirement he enjoyed playing golf and traveling the world with Lucy and their friends.
