In Tyler’s 30 years he left an indelible impression on everyone he met. Sweet and kind, and generous with his time and thoughts. Always offering a kind word and usually a nickname for everyone he knew. Tyler was wise beyond his years. Offering advice, usually but not always solicited, to his family and friends, and he was usually right.
Family was everything to Tyler. He loved everything about his life, but nothing beat beach weeks in Fenwick Island or long Christmas Eve dinners in Washington PA. Watching a sporting event with his Churchill Road crew or ΑΤΩ brothers was always special too.
Tyler graduated from Penn State in 2014 with a degree in finance, obtained a masters in finance from Villanova in 2019, and became an official Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2020. He was a financial wizard. Great with numbers big and small, and loved talking about the stock market, mortgage rates, and betting lines in great detail.
Everyone knew Tyler could be quirky and loved that about him. Proudly wearing a ‘Cat Dad’ T-shirt honoring his beloved tabby cat Ollie, whom he referred to as his first child. He usually passed on seconds of pie or cake after dinner, preferring to pick at it with his fingers for the rest of the evening.
We are all better for having Tyler in our lives, we just wish it could have been longer.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his brother Nick; sister, McKenzie; and parents, Scott & Julie Malpede along with many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, his Nani and his Grandpa.
