Viola Mildred Howe

Viola M. Howe (96) passed away peacefully in Annandale, VA on Oct. 1, 2021. She was born on Nov. 22, 1924 in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, CA. She met her future husband, Charles W. Howe in the Yukon Territory where she was working for the Royal Canadian Air Force. They settled in Falls Church, VA where they raised 2 sons, Charles Jr. and Byron. Viola eventually earned her US Citizenship. Charles & Viola built a real estate company where she was the property manager. She was active in the PTA and Cub Scouts with her boys. She loved to travel and spent many years traveling globally with the Realtors and as a delegate to the American Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). They were members of ANCC for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles of 51 years, her son Charles, Jr. (Susan), 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her younger sister Lorna Measure, son Byron Howe (Carole) and 3 grandchildren, Dr. Lindsay Howe (Miami,FL) William Howe (Huntington Beach, CA) and James Howe (Annandale, VA).

A memorial service will be held at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA on Tuesday Oct 12, 2021 at 12:00PM. Family Visitation starting at 11:00
