

Virginia was born in Washington and was raised and educated in Arlington. She was a graduate of Washington and Lee High School. She worked at the Pentagon for several years before joining the C.I.A. She retired from working in the early 60’s to raise her family.
She was a long time member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Arlington.
She is survived by her daughter Diane and her husband Michael of Fairfax, and the twin grandchildren Kevin and Nicole. She also leaves a step son Doug Bedwell and his wife Kay. Virginia was predeceased by a step daughter Brenda Stirling.
Visiting hours will be Friday March 23 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.,at the National Funeral Home 7482 Lee Hwy. in Falls Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church 2609 No. Glebe Rd., in Arlington. http://www.stmarysarlington.org/stmarysarlington/home.
