She was born March 7, 1928 in Circleville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert S. Vandevander and Lilly May Vandevander. Virginia was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was retired from Raytheon Corp in 1993.
Surviving her are three children Myra Lynn Sampson of Crownsville Md., Carlton Lee Lambert of Manassas, Va. and Leslie Ann Hall of Colonial Beach,Va.; also leaves a sister Lorne B. Wade of Warrenton,Va.; 7 Grandchildren, Ginny, Rich, Lee, Debra, Carlee, Justin, Shane, and one great grandchild Rory Braedan. Graveside service to begin at 12 noon at the National Memorial Park Cemetery, 7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Va.
