Carol Ann Pickett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Pickett, a beloved mother and grandmother, who departed from this world on September 23rd, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Born on December 24th, 1943 Carol was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Bethpage, where she developed her strong sense of family values and compassion for others. She was the daughter of Mildred and Jim Buckley and loving sister to the beautiful Janet Paige and her upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Carol was blessed with two children, John, and James Pickett, who were the center of Carol's world. She dedicated herself to providing them with a nurturing and loving home, ensuring they were always surrounded by warmth and support.

In addition to being a devoted mother, Carol cherished her role as a grandmother. Her eyes would light up with joy in the presence of her grandchildren, Alexandra, John, Michael, and Jaden, and she delighted in watching them grow and thrive. She showered them with affection, and they, in turn, adored their "Nanny" with all their hearts.

Beyond her roles as a mother and grandmother, Carol was a cherished friend to many. Her warm smile and compassionate nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to us all.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, September 26th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 26th, 8pm at the funeral home. Gathering at the funeral home Wednesday, September 27th, 9:30 am. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
