Caroline Marie Ryan

Ryan, Caroline Marie, 59, of East Farmingdale, passed away February 19, 2023. Beloved wife of 34 years to Terrence. Loving mother of Erica Moskowitz (Jordan), Conor (Jennifer), and Brendan. Cherished daughter of Mary and the late Richard. Dear sister of Richard (Fanica). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Caroline was truly an amazing person inside and out. She had a smile that would light up a room and was able to make everyone feel good. Caroline was inspiring, kind, strong, hilarious, detailed and brilliant. She enjoyed exercising, bike riding, cycling and Zumba. She loved gardening, visiting arboretums and nature. Caroline created a beautiful garden in her backyard that attracted all kinds of wildlife. One of her favorite things was to look out into the yard and take it all in. Caroline liked visiting art shows, going to plays, listening to music and going to concerts, especially at Jones Beach. She appreciated old movies, being able to picture what life was like in different eras. Caroline was a true planner; her family would often joke that she was the family travel agent because she planned unforgettable trips with her schedules and activities. Caroline and her family traveled all over, her favorite places to visit became the National Parks but the most memorable trip was Yellowstone. Her family was the light of her life and she treasured every moment spent with them. Caroline was an unbelievably supportive mother. She was always there, and was extremely involved in all their extracurricular activities.  Caroline was a blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and she will be missed terribly. The family will receive visitors Friday, February 24th, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass Saturday, February 25th, 9:30 am at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Caroline's name to the America Cancer Society, cancer.org.
