Dorothea Anne Bovich

Bovich, Dorothea Anne, (née Field), 95, of  Farmingdale, NY, passed away on 3 December 2020. She was born in Brooklyn New York on  March 29, 1925 to Bernard and Margaret Field. She married the love of her life Edward Raymond Bovich on July 14, 1946 and started their lives together in Farmingdale, New York. Dorothea was an active parishioner of St Kilian Parish in Farmingdale since 1958. Her love for her family was unrelenting and unequivocal. She lived for her family, fully supporting and encouraging them in everything they did. Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Edward. Loving mother of Stephen Bovich (Linda), Judith Bovich,  James Bovich (Jeanette) and the late Laurie Bovich Wallis. Cherished grandmother of Timothy Bovich, Michael Bovich, Colleen Bovich Petroni, Meaghan Bovich, Matthew Scala, Dan Scala, Chris Scala, Trevor Bovich, and Tara Bovich. Adored great grandmother of Elizabeth Bovich Lee, Madeleine Bovich, Stuart Bovich, Arya Bovich, Lyra Bovich, Luca Petroni, Stephen Petroni, Cassie Petroni, Dean Scala, Lilah Scala and Elijah Scala. Predeceased by her siblings Margaret Field McManus and William Field. Due to the pandemic, the family had a private cremation. They plan to celebrate Dorothea's life with a Memorial Mass at St. Kilian RC Church and burial at Calverton National Cemetery in the future when it is safe for all.
