Edward "Eddie" J. Olive

Olive, Edward J., "Eddie", of Bethpage passed away long before his time on November 2, 2021 at the age of 59. Longtime employee for Long Island Blood Services. Beloved husband of 29 years to Virginia. Loving father of Danielle. Adored brother of Debbie Schneider (John), Tricia Heins (Richie) and Denise Sirignano (Chris). Cherished son-in-law to Cathy LaPreta and brother-in-law to Charles  (Barbara) and Ashlee McCormack (Andrew). Treasured uncle of Brittany, Tiffany (Jesse), Zachary, Alexis, Michael, Melina, AJ and Aliana and great uncle to Stella and Morgan. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Eddie's perfect day was spent with his family, floating in the pool, sipping on a Bud Light Lime and eating hamburgers or steak. He was a huge Mets and Dallas Cowboys fan and was known for his green thumb, being able to grow anything imaginable. Eddie was his daughters biggest fan and supporter, if they weren't driving her all over to practices and games, you could find them playing catch on the front lawn. He made sure to make every soccer, lacrosse, softball and basketball event. The family will receive visitors Saturday, November 6th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Service Saturday, November 6th, 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Cremation Private.
