Linda Jane Fritz

Fritz, Linda Jane, 79 of Farmingdale passed away on December 23, 2022. Loving mother of John (Susan), Kevin (Shannon) and Jamie (Seindy). Adored Nanny of Christopher, James, Kathryn, Taylor, Ryan and Heather. Cherished sister of Jackie Rascoll (Thomas) and Sharon (Richard). Treasured Dog Mom of Archie. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Linda retired from We Transport after many dedicated years as a bus driver. She loved her kids on the bus, so much so, that she never missed a day of work. Linda was a great cook; her family loved her infamous Chicken Fricassee and delicious meatloaf. She enjoyed shopping at the Christmas Tree Store and Dollar Store; watching soap operas, cooking shows and Say Yes to the Dress, playing Candy Crush on her iPad and her nightly “Bug Juice”. She also liked butterflies, cats and antiquing. Throughout her years of antiquing, Linda found and collected beautiful antique dishes and teacups. Linda treasured spending time with her family and loved them dearly. She was known to always have Smarties candies on her so she could spoil her grandchildren. Linda and her French Bulldog Archie had an unexplainable bond. Whenever Archie was given a treat, he would bring it to Linda and eat it with her. Linda’s personality was unique and unable to be forgotten. She was entertaining and loving, yet strong willed and stubborn. Her vibrant personality, delicious recipes and many unforgettable memories will live on in her family forever, she will be truly missed.  The family will receive visitors Monday, December 26th, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Prayer Service Tuesday, December 27th, 10 am at the funeral home. Interment following at Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale.
