Kencil “Pat” Lucrail Morton, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at home.
Born on May 1, 1925 in Ritchie County, he was the son of the late Wesley and Nile Eddy Morton.
Mr. Morton served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked and retired from Weirton Steel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim, Burn, Charley, Richard, and Carl; two sisters, Dolly and Juanita; and son-in-law, Mark H. Caldwell.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Johnotheen Richards Morton; daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Caldwell; grandson, Wesley Caldwell and wife, Jodie; and brother, Walter Morton.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
