Thomas E Wilson

He was born in Fayetteville, WV and had lived in Cleveland, OH, Lancaster, OH and had retired to Bradenton, FL following his retirement from the State of Ohio civil service at Cleveland Psychiatric Hospital.

Tom was a longtime member of the Manatee Life Church in Bradenton, FL.

Tom was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Dean Wilson; parents, Charles (Dick) and Thelma Lively Wilson; three brothers, Pat, Brownie and Frankie; and his brother-in-law, Walker Shumake.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Wilson Shumake of Newport, MI; brother, Richard and wife, Betty Shuck Wilson of Bradenton, FL; several nieces and numerous great nephews and nieces; two stepchildren, Barb VanSchoor and Daniele Prevett of Cleveland, OH; along with his wife’s family, the Deans.

Graveside services will be 1:00P.M.Friday, February 16, 2024 at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV with Billie Lively officiating.

The family would like to thank the Hospice staff in Newport, MI for the care and kindness shown to Tom.
