On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Angela R. Ricci, née Pucci, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at the age of 80. Angela was born in 1938 in Perth Amboy, NJ. She graduated Perth Amboy High School in 1955, and shortly thereafter, Barbizon School of Modeling in New York, NY. In New York City she worked as a professional petite model and as an assistant buyer for Lord and Taylor department store. Angela later attended the University of Miami in Miami, FL, where she met future husband Alfred Ricci. They married in 1959 and moved to Texas, and then California, while Alfred was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Returning to New Jersey in the mid 1960s, Angela worked as a beautician, owned a dress shop, and later became a realtor. She was an active member of the Tamarac Women’s Golf Association, the East Brunswick Garden Club, and of Saint Bartholomew’s in East Brunswick, Saint George’s in Helmetta, and Saint Peter’s in Point Pleasant Beach. When she retired to Palm Coast, FL in 1995, Angela devoted her time to being a grandmother, as well as to participating in the Garden Club at Palm Coast, the Lady Elks Auxiliary, the Italian American Social Club Heritage Committee, the Secular Franciscan Order, and the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Charismatic Prayer Group. Angela loved to cook and won Blue Ribbon awards for her baking at the Flagler County Fair in the late 90s. Angela is survived by Alfred, her husband of 59½ years, and their four children: Alfred Joseph (Michelle Gregory), Joseph (Lisa), Anthony (Jeanne), and Nina; two grandchildren by her son Joseph with Lisa, Andrew and Connor; and two grandchildren by her son Alfred Joseph with Amy Stedman, Alfred James and Adam. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph T. Pucci and Helen Pucci, née Kovacs.
