Anita “Nina” Dillon of Flagler Beach passed away peacefully at home Sunday, August 5, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Florida native, Nina was born in Miami Beach, raised in Cocoa Beach, spent some of her young adult years in New Jersey before returning to Florida to continue work for AT&T. She met her husband, Bob Dillon in New Jersey. They have been married 38 years. Nina is survived by her loving husband Bob, sister and brother-in-law Jenny and Bill Begg of Charlotte, NC, sister and brother-in-law Victoria and Glen Gray of Melbourne, FL, brother Shawn Young of Basking Ridge, NJ, sister-in-law Susan Tropeano of Martinsville, NJ, brother-in-law Rich Dillon of Lakeside, MT, and numerous nieces and nephews. Nina was pre-deceased by her parents and older brother, Chris. Nina is also survived by her loving dog “Bugs” and her four rescued cats. Nina dearly loved her husband Bob, her family and her friends. She was always ready and willing to help others at a moment’s notice. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Nina was a systems analyst with AT&T for most of her career. She was also owner/operator of a landscaping company and retired from it after ten years. Nina loved cooking, gardening, fishing, home decorating and was an avid reader. She was an animal lover and animal advocate. Nina volunteered for the Humane Society and also rescued cats. Funeral Mass at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church is pending.
