

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Carl recalled his military experiences with reverence and respect for the people with whom he served. He attended college on the GI Bill and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. John's University in New York. Upon graduation, Carl began working for Collins & Aikman and remained a valued and loyal employee for over 44 years, until his retirement.
Upon retirement, Carl enjoyed traveling and socializing with family and friends and could always be counted on to impart sage financial advice to companions. Carl was also an enthusiastic member of the Italian American Social Club in Palm Coast, where he served in various elected offices. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jeanne.
He is survived by a son, Ronald (Beth) and a daughter, Denise (Mick), Nadine Wasserman with whom he shared his life, heart and happiness for 12 years, her children, Greg, Gina, Lori, and Cara (Ernesto), his brother Joseph, and nephews Steven, Michael, Mark, John, Joseph, and Carl. Granddaughters Tia (Stephen) and Karen (Chuck), great grandchildren Sydney, Libby, Sunny Kate, Samantha, and Colton.
A visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, followed by a funeral service with Military Honors at 3:00 PM.
