Carol E. MacDonald 77, of Palm Coast FL, wife of Norman MacDonald Sr. passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born in Hartford CT on April 11, 1940 daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Hendrickson) Erickson. Carol, formerly from Canton, CT has been a resident here for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by their 6 children; Diane Condon (and Gerald) of Avon CT, Bruce of Forest City NC, Susan of Glastonbury CT, Dawn Anderson (and Tim) of Jefferson GA, Scott of Port St Lucie FL, and Norman Jr. of Wallingford CT, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her sister, MaryAnn Raymond of Palm Coast, her brother-in-law, Douglas MacDonald of Monroe GA, several nieces and a nephew and many friends.
