Clifford “Cliff” Reed 80, of Palm Coast, passed away on January 30, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Howard D. and Mildred Reed (Swanson). Cliff attended Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he moved to Seattle for a job with Boeing and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during that time. He worked and retired as a Systems Technician for various telecommunication companies. He worked with NBC, which afforded him the opportunity to spend 3 months working the Olympics in China and the Ryder Cup in South Africa. Cliff enjoyed the outdoors and all its activities, he was also a civil war buff who enjoyed visiting historic battle grounds. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children, Mark Reed of Palm Coast; daughter, Jennifer Bushman of West Virginia; grandchildren, Lacey Reed, Hayley Reed, Kellie Reed; great-grandchild, Fisher Flores; brother, Claude and his wife Beverly; sister, Janet Reed.
