

Born on July 4, 1951, in Brooklyn, Donald was the son of the late Donald and Elaine White. His family later moved to Daytona Beach, where he graduated from Mainland High School in 1969. He continued his education at University of Notre Dame, earning his bachelor’s degree before enlisting in the United States Army.
Donald attended Flight School and proudly served his country for 20 years as an Army aviator, flying helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft in Korean. He retired from military service with the rank of Major.
Following his military career, Donald returned home to work alongside his family at White Acres Nursery in Port Orange, where he remained until his retirement.
Donald and his beloved wife, Linda, shared a passion for travel and adventure. Together they explored the world, visiting all seven continents, including memorable travels to Iceland.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kelly White, sister Debbie and her husband Gary Miller.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda White; his sons, Nicholas White of Palm Coast, Joseph White and his wife, Annie, of Seattle; his brother, Kevin White; and his sisters, Teresa Auch and Kathleen Linton.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
