

He grew up on Long Island, NY. Subsequently, a career opportunity led him to Colorado, after which he retired in Palm Coast, Florida. During his career, he achieved success as an owner and operator in both the oil industry and the service and home goods sectors. He greatly valued spending time with his wife of nearly 65 years, as well as with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, and regularly visiting Flagler Beach with his wife each evening to have ice cream and observe the community.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette E. Dillon, and their two sons, Douglas A. Dillon Jr. and David C. Dillon all reside in Palm Coast, Florida.
He was blessed with 11 grandchildren Bryanna & Ben Rudman, Bryttnea & Shawn Zordani, Michael Dillon fiancé Brittany, Joshua & Maleah Dillon, Douglas A Dillon III, Tucker Dillon fiancé Shelby, Blake Dillon fiancé Ariana, Brock Dillon, Noah Dillon, Madison Dillon & Luciana Dillon of Palm Coast.
He was blessed with 9 great-grandchildren Brynn Rudman, Asher Rudman, Aiden Dillon, Karrah Dillon, Luke Dillon, Roman Zordani, Jhene Dillon, Archer Zordani & Kiera Dillon. He is also survived by a brother George Dillon of Naples, FL. & Sister Gail (Dillon) Norman of Hernando, FL.
