Eddie Murphy the white wonder who intrigued everyone with his bus driving days stories,...and his ability to talk about anything,...shows the type of a special person that my friend was. Sure do miss him.

I had the great pleasure of working with Eddie at the Castleton Ave depot.  He was a great man and a great storyteller (must have been the Irish in him).  He was loved by most and respected by all.   He will be missed deeply.   May he rest peacefully. 

i knew EDDIE since he came on the buses.i called him MURPH.he was a loving and caring man with a good sense of humor.i fished with him once in a while too.he was a friend that i cherished.i had not seen him in recent years but i never forgot him.farewell MURPH.i'll see you in heaven someday.

Eddie Murphy was a good friend and fellow biker, ...and I will miss him and the humorous times we shared.
I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie about 7-8 years ago and was impressed at the common bond of things we shared as growing up . ( his sense of humor was a match) His was a history lesson, every time we talked. I learned so much about his life as a school teacher and then a bus driver,...he definitely was one of my "most unforgetable characters".
Sandy and I sure enjoyed his company and friendship, and hope he looks out for us.
