Gerald Patrick 'Pat' Keyes, 85, passed away on August 13, 2021 in Palm Coast, FL with loving family members by his side. Gerald was born and raised in Morristown, NJ. After leaving high school, he joined the U. S. Navy. When he completed his service in the Navy, Gerald completed a successful 26 year career as a police officer for the Town of Morristown. He retired as a lieutenant in 1987 and relocated with his wife to Middleburg, FL, where he continued to work in various positions for 20 years. Gerald is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jane (Creamer); his children Jerry (Sherry), Cherrie Markwood (Scott), Tracey Martino (Marc), and David (Christy); his grandchildren, John (Kelly), Melody, Carolyn, Andrew, Rheanna, Danielle, Kyla, and Sarah; his great-grandchildren Jaden, Alyssa, and Angelo; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings Kathleen, Theresa Holtz (Robert), Adrian (Rita), and Betty. Gerald is predeceased by his mother, Mary and father, Thomas; brothers Arthur, Vincent (Janet), Edmund (Bonnie), Jerome (Shirley), and Thomas (Beverly); sister Josephine (Donald); and daughters Sandy (Mike) and Connie (David).Services for Gerald will be held privately.
