On June 5, 2025, our beloved Gloria Delmy Urias, 73, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully—surrounded by love and in her daughter’s arms. Born on August 30, 1951, in Jiquilisco, Usulután, El Salvador, Gloria lived a beautiful life filled with deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and the will to travel and discover all the world has to offer.
She was the cherished daughter of the late José Estabban Quintanilla and María Edelia Castellon.
Gloria’s early years were filled with hardship. She faced many challenges growing up, but she never allowed those struggles to define her. With strength and unwavering determination, she pushed through and built a life grounded in love, faith, and perseverance. Through it all, Gloria kept a warm smile, a hopeful spirit, and a remarkable ability to see the good in every situation. Her resilience became the foundation of the family she raised and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
She was proud to have earned her degree from Usuluteco College in Usulután, and even prouder of the family she built and nurtured over the years. She was a devoted Catholic, whose strength and spirituality guided her through life. Those who knew her will remember her as a woman of warmth and grace—always ready with a comforting meal, a dance step, a story to share, and wise sayings to offer.
She was the heart of every room she entered: a loving wife, a joyful mother, a caring grandmother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend to many. Gloria loved traveling, cooking for her family, and dancing to her favorite music. Her heart was always open—filled with love, laughter, and the comfort she so freely gave. To her family, she wasn’t just a mother or grandmother—she was the queen of this family.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Carlos A. Urias, the love of her life since they met at just 17 years old. She also leaves her beloved children: Carolina Y. Kasliwala, Karla Muñoz, and Alexis Caceres; and Vahid Kasliwala. Five grandchildren who brought endless pride and happiness into her life: Delmy Kasliwala, Noir Kasliwala, Carlos Muñoz, Alessandro Caceres, and Marian Caceres.
She is also survived by her four loving sisters: Vertilla Maria Castellon, Dina Esperanza Castellon, Aracely Castellon y Estela Solis and by her dear brothers: Oscar Solis, Esteban Solis, and Vital Solis—each of whom held a special place in Gloria’s heart.
She was the queen of our world—guiding us with strength, unconditional love, and uplifting us with her spirit. Her presence brought comfort, her words carried wisdom, and her hands created the flavors of home. Gloria was known for her incredible cooking, especially her legendary pupusas and tamales, which became the heart of every family gathering. Through her love, laughter, and generosity, she created a legacy of connection that will live on in every meal shared, every song danced to, and every moment of love passed down through generations.
