John Lewis Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell was born January 31, 1943 in Framingham, MA., son of Henry J. Mitchell & Helen J. Grace Mitchell.

He worked as an auto mechanic and was the owner / operator of Mitchell Bros. Trucking. Mr. Mitchell worked for Almac and Teds Towing in Fayville MA. He enjoyed playing poker, working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Mitchell was an active member of the Italian American Social Club and the Columbian Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Fairfield, and her husband Andrew. Two granddaughters, Megan and Erin Fairfield, his significant other, Sandie Ostresh and his ex-wife, Donna Mitchell. He also leaves behind his nephew, Rodney (Sue) Dufault, his nieces, Jeannie (Paul) Vennard, Sandie (Tom Wissler) Dufault, his great-nephews Matt Dufault and Tyler Wissler and one great-niece, Trisha Dufault.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Dufault.

Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4-7 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, where a memorial service will be at 5:30 PM
