John Stanley Young, 74, of Bunnell, entered into rest May 3, 2022. John was born in Syracuse, New York, to Robert and Bernice Young, on March 26, 1948. He was a proud member of the US Navy from 1967-1973 serving some of his time on the USS Boxer. John graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from University of West Florida. He became a teacher at Flagler Palm Coast High School where he retired after 24 years.
John was predeceased by his loving wife of 24 years, Judy Young.
John is survived by his brothers, Pete (Julie) Young of Bunnell, and Paul (Maureen) Young of DeBary, his 3 nieces, his 2 nephews, his 5 grandnieces, his 2 grandnephews and many other family and friends. John was a good man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
