Manuel Fiallo (affectionately known as Manny), was born November 16, 1941 in Havana Cuba, to Julian Fiallo and Manuela Sanchez. He stepped into eternity to be present with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Manny migrated to New York City in 1951 with his father. He worked for (NTA), New York Transit Authority, lived in New York for several years, Retired from NTA, and moved to Palm Coast Florida with his wife Mirta Fiallo. He was an avid love of music, Oldies, Spanish, Jazz, etc. He would sit with his headset and listen to all kinds of music daily. He's either listening or downloading music. His music collection is massive!. His other love was bowling. Not too well at it, but, he loved it. Every Monday he'll be at the " Palm Coast Lanes" supporting his team. He also loved to dance, play domino, traveling and cruising.!
Manny was a happy go lucky person. Everything for him was, "que sera, sera", What will be will be. When he's on his Riding lawn mower, his grandson Jaden rides along with him, they both enjoyed that special time of bonding. He is one of the few men that loved to go shopping, even with his wife!
Manny found extreme joy in retirement. He looked forward to his senior citizen nods in his favorite recliner, however, sometimes little miss "Sasha" (their chiwawa), beats him to that chair.
Manny is predeceased to eternity, by his mother Manuela Sanchez, father Julian Fiallo, and his son Manuel Fiallo, Jr. Left to cherish his fond memories are his loving wife Mirta Fiallo, his daughter Mercedes Vega and husband, his sister Rosemarie Fiallo, his grandsons Amir and Nasir
Fiallo, his step-daughter Priscilla Aponte and step-grandson Jaden Kolokithias.
He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, too numerous to name.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them during their time of bereavement. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2018, 2:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach.
