Robert E. Barrows

Robert E. Barrows, 67, of Flagler Beach FL, entered into rest February 10, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Worcester MA, May 19, 1955 to Robert and Joan Barrows. He grew up in Grafton, MA graduating from Grafton High and attending WPI in Worcester MA. He moved to Auburn MA after marrying his bride, Glenna, where they raised their son Robert Barrows, also known as Robby. Bob worked many years at Nypro in Clinton MA where he was a program engineer. When he retired 5 years ago Glenna and Bob moved to their happy place at the beach in Flagler.

Bob enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife and family. He loved all types of music and folk music festivals and was always reading and expanding his knowledge. Bob was a “foodie” at heart who loved trying new recipes and expanding his smoker skills, much to the delight of all of us lucky enough to sample his yummy food. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his son Robby and loving wife Glenna. They were married 39 happy years and their love and devotion for each other never wavered since the day they met.

Bob is survived by his wife Glenna and son Robby of Auburn, MA. He is also survived by his sister Christine Larson, husband Glenn, of Flagler Beach FL and Worcester MA, his brother Roy Barrows of Auburn MA and sister Lorene Barrows of MA and nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

There is a celebration of life planned for Bob on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 1 PM at his sister Chris’s home in Flagler Beach. Family and friends are all invited to share our memories.
