Robert H. Spear (aka “Ranger Bob”), son of David Spear and Nellie Fetherman and New York State Forestry Service Fire Ranger, New Jersey Forest Fire Lookout Association Member and Veteran of the U.S. Navy passed away July 23, 2019 after a brief illness. Originally from Oakland New Jersey, Bergen County, he is survived by his sister, Lyda Spear, niece Melissa Zuest and husband Michael, nephew Pastor Craig Spear and wife Anne and niece Sherry Friedman and husband Todd. In lieu of cards and flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project in his honor are greatly appreciated. Cremation and final resting place at the convenience of the family.
