Debbie I just heard the news today. I am not sure why I didn't connect the dots when I saw all the beautiful flower arrangements in front of your house. 
I am so sorry for your lose. Boots was a very good and caring neighbor and will be deeply missed. May you and your family find comfort in the memories you hold of him and may your hearts heal from this great lose. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You will be miss greatly for we grew up as true friends on Mifflin St. the lord has taken u from us but u will always be in the hearts of all that knew you.

Stella, S.B. and all of Boots's family I'm so sorry for your loss. Bootsie was a long time, good, good friend. We grew together in the old hood, then later after we both got got married we were neighbors once again on Gordon street. Never will forget the many parties! You will be greatly missed my friend and I'm sorry I could not be there in your passing. I'm glad we DID get to hang for a while on my last trip in August. R.I.P. my brother, you will forever be in my memories and forever in my heart.

I will never forget boots, we grew up together and I would like to share this story with every one ! in may of 1967, I had orders cut to go to Vietnam. as I was home on leave boots knew I was taking my wife loyce to her prom, well boots said to me since you are going to Vietnam I am going to let you use my 396 chevele to take her to the prom loyce and I are married now 46yrs and we still talk about how boots lend me his car that nite we will miss boots but we know he is in a better place and he is in the hands of the lord

Ms Stella  and family my heart goes out to you for my friend and "brother ". Bootsie.  We have so many fun memories from Mifflin St and after  and I will cherish and hang on to them all.   He was a  good man always with a sense of humor ready to make you laugh
