Barbara Joyce Heikkinen, of Swartz Creek, Michigan, passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 86.
Barbara has gone to her final home to be reunited with her beloved husband, Ronald K. Heikkinen; her brother, Ronald Bleau; her son, Gerald Heikkinen; her grandson, Brandon Heikkinen; and her parents, Ted and Eula Bleau.
Barbara was a dedicated and compassionate woman who completed high school and went on to earn her degree as a registered nurse. She faithfully served her community through her work at McLaren Regional Medical Center for 35 years. Following her retirement, she remained active in her faith as a devoted member of the Baptist Church in Flushing, Michigan. She also found joy in spending time at the Clio Senior Center, where she built lasting friendships.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her three daughters, Linda LaJuenesse, Lori Powers, and Lisa Crandell; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.
