SPENCE, Charles (Bill) – Age 82, of Flushing, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at Brian’s House. Mr. Spence was born November 20, 1928 in Flint the son of William and Violet Spence. Bill served his country with the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He worked at the Post Office as a letter carrier and after retirement he ran Cat Fish Corners fish market for 20 years. On September 19, 1969 Bill married Maxine Long and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his brother, Tom (Gail) Spence. Friends may visit the family from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Reigle Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Pastor Harold E. Constant will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park
