

WINER, JEROME age 76 of Flushing, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the McLaren Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Michigan. Pastors Walt and Wally Rose will be officiating. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitations will be held Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Masonic Memorial at 7:00 P.M Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Jerome was born August 2, 1937 in Flint and was the son of Delmer and Edith (Moore) Winer. Jerome was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. He received the Walter Ruther Award for his service to the U.A.W. Jerome served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Genesee Masonic Lodge 174 F&AM and was serving as Worshipful Master. He was also a member of Elf Khurafeh Shrine, Oasis Shrine Club, past member of the Clown Unit, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, the Eagles and Flushing Moose Lodge 1437. Surviving are children Edwin (Gayle), Jerry (Dianna), William (fiancé Taunnia Smith), Jackie (Ronald) Klorres; son-in-law Brain Lucero; grandchildren Lyndsi, Chadd (Alicia), Cody, Brittany, Ashley, Jami (fiancé Michael), Austin, Audrey, Adalee, Conner, William, Justin; great-grandchildren Lauryn, Lily, Little Steven. Jerome was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Carol, father, mother, daughter Tina Louise Lucero, brother Gary, grandson Jerome Ford Winer. The family would like to send a special thanks to pastors Walt and Wally Rose and Bethel Baptist Church. Jerome has made a contribution to the Michigan Eye Bank. Memorial contributions may be made to Shrine Children’s.
