Patryce Allyson Denton, age 69 of Montrose, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She was born on April 13, 1950 in Jackson, Michigan to parents John Timothy Mroz and Patricia Bassile Gallias and later adopted by John Nogaj. Patryce enjoyed many things like cooking, fishing, playing music, watching TV and musicals, and playing cards. She also loved her Tennessee home. But more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Patryce is survived by her children: John Francis (Angela) Leneschmidt, Jerrika Jeanne (Jason) Boone, and Amanda Ruth (Mark) Albany; grandchildren: Tashina, Ariel, Jonathan, Hannah, Chance Christian “Little Big Man”, Eliana, Katelon, Tricia, Brenna; sisters: Veronika Jeanne Clark, Tina Dornton; brothers: Trent Nogaj (Cheryl Sims), Jonathan Nogaj; nieces and nephews: Christa, Patricia, Michaela, Petra, Bianca, Jonathan Eli, Jonathan, Jared, Tiffany, Derek; special family: Beth Ann Schuler and family, Tracy and Susan, and many friends down south in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Lee Denton; parents, John Mroz, Patricia Gallias, and John Nogaj; grandparents: Lewis and Letta Haygreen; brother, John Harris “Buzzy” Mroz; grandson, Patrick Albany. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Patryce. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
