BENNING, Randal A. (Randy) – Age 55, of Flushing, died Monday, March 7, 2011. Mr. Benning was born April 25, 1955 in Highland Park the son of Martin and Lola Benning. Randy graduated from G.M.I. with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree and he retired from General Motors. He was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to play baseball. The loves of his life were his girls who survive him, Carrie Duvall, Holly Benning and Mackenzie Benning; grandchildren, Skylar Duvall, Brooke Helvie, Brynn Helvie and Jackson Britton; mother, Lola Benning; sisters, Kathy (George) Enguita, Karen Fallis; nieces and nephew, Sunny, Grace and Charlie. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Martin Benning. Friends may visit the family from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Reigle Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
