Reta Irene Bridges

Reta was born to the late Levi and Emma (Pomerantz) Wallace in Glennie, Michigan. For many years, she was involved in the Lion's Club in Glennie, Michigan. She was very active in her church, Lott Baptist Church. Reta loved adventuring and traveling. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. Reta adored her family, and loved spending time with them. She also helped raise her nieces and nephews, and she was truly a "saint." Reta was loved by many, and will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Reta leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving sister, Caroline (Buddy) Lane of Burton, Michigan and loving brother, Durell (Pat) Wallace of Flushing, Michigan; many precious nieces and nephews; her loyal pet, Shaggy; and her dear special friends at the Lion's Club and Lott Baptist Church.

Reta is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orval Bridges; her parents, Levi and Emma Wallace; her sisters, Zelda Middleton, Nancy Wakeman, and Marilyn Beckwith; and her brother, Robert Wallace.

Visitation for Reta will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and again at 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Reigle Funeral Home/Sunset Chapel, 5501 W Pierson Rd, Flushing, Michigan 48433. The funeral service will occur on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at Lott Baptist Church, 4257 S. State Road, Glennie, MI, with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will occur on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Glennie Cemetery, Glennie, MI.
