Angelica Rosado, February 13th 1946- Saturday September 26th 2020 was a loving daughter and a beloved mother and grandmother. Besides being the best mother a child could hope for she found time to have a successful career at Long Island Jewish Hospital. She was also an 1199 Union delegate who traveled to Washington to lobby for the rights of healthcare workers and help negotiate their labor contract. Despite being ill the last years of her life, Angelica found a way to involve herself in her family’s daily life. She was a constant source of strength and encouragement to her family and friends. One of the highlights of her life was being able to dance with her son Richard at his wedding. She is survived by her mother Angelina, her sister Carmen, her children Michael, Richard, and Christina, and finally her precious grandson Riley.
Her funeral will be held at Saint Nicolas of Tolentine at 10:30 on Saturday the 3rd. We ask instead of sending flowers, that a donation be made in her name to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
