Annamarie Brown

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Brown. Loving mother of Marjorie Brown (Brad Hefner), Milton Brown (Elna Drava), Kathryn Brown (Tim Kaiser) and Janet Brown Ulman (Josh Ulman). Cherished grandmother of Dr. Marissa Barbaro, Jack Barbaro, Claire Brown, Brooke Brown, Elizabeth Brown-Kaiser, Carolyn Brown Kaiser, Christopher Ulman, Nicholas Ulman, Zachary Ulman and Ian Ulman. Devoted sister of Theresa Maleady and the late Angela Policriti.

Annamarie had a 60-year career as an attorney before her retirement at the age of 86. One of only a handful of females at St. John's University Law School, she graduated at the top of her class and was a member of the Law Review. She was respected and known for her sage advice to litigants and judges in the New York State Courts. Annamarie served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Special Victims Unit in Queens and spent several decades as a judicial law clerk. She proudly served as president of the Queen's Woman's Bar Association, which recently honored her at their annual Judiciary Night.

The family of Annamarie will be receiving visitors at the Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Visiting hours will be Monday, November 25, 2019 and Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Private interment Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309.
