

Surviving Chris are his wife of 60 years, Betty, his sons, Ted, Paul, and Dean, his daughter in laws, Thea and Gia, his grandchildren, Alex, Nolan and Sidney, his brothers, Vangeli and Rouli, and his sister Katerina. He was pre-deceased by his son Mike.
Chris was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who always put family first and who felt immense pride for his family.
Chris came to the United States in 1955 and achieved the kind of success and prosperity that are symbolized by the American Dream.
Chris was a successful business owner, starting his own company in the precision machining industry in 1960, Chris Papas Precision Company Inc.
Over the years, Chris expanded upon his success through the purchase of several commercial real estate properties.
Most important to Chris was his family. Chris was the leader and steward of a large extended family who he looked to help at every turn. Family and friends all loved and respected Chris.
Anyone who knew Chris, knew of his fun and larger than life personality.
Chris will be missed and remembered for his goodness, his sincerity, his generosity, and his boundless passion for life and for helping others.
A visitation for Chris will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Funeral liturgy Wednesday, March 23, 2022 11:30 AM at Archangel Michael G.O. Church, 100 Fairway Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050. Committal service to follow at Flushing Cemetery.
