Dimitrios Verteouris

Beloved husband of Angela Giraldo Verteouris. Loving father of Effie Marie Verteouris, Eva Verteouris, Daniela Giraldo, Bryanna Kozlov, Ryan Kozlov and the late Dimirtios Verteouris. Cherished grandfather of Alan Butrico Adored son of Dennis Verteouris and Effie and Christos Kosmas. Devoted brother of Anastasios Verteouris, Emmanuel Kosmas, Maria Kosmas, Marianthi Verteouris, Gus Kosmas and John Kosmas. Survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Godfather of Dennis Verteouris, Irene Trakelis and Irene Tahliabouris. It is required that all visitors wear a face mask or face covering, to practice social distancing and to remain in the chapel, not to congregate in the hallways or lobby of the funeral home. When visiting the family please be conscious to pay your respects, greet the family and to be mindful of other visitors that may be waiting outside because we are limiting the amount of guests in each chapel for the safety of everyone.

A visiting hours for Dimitrios will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral liturgy will occur Friday, December 18, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Nicholas GO Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358. A graveside service will occur Friday, December 18, 2020 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
