Ellen Holland

She was the beloved wife of Vincent and the loving mother of Liam and Chloe. Eileen cherished her family deeply and found joy in spending time with them. She also had a great appreciation for the sights of Rhode Island, which brought her much happiness.

Eileen had a special charisma. She lit up the room. Strangers quickly became friends given her warm personality and infectious laugh.

Eileen met her husband Vincent of nearly 40 years in 1984 in the Bronx, NY. They were married at Vincent's home parish church in County Tyrone, Ireland. They lived in Fresh Meadows and Massapequa, NY, before moving to Newport, RI.

Eileen loved everything about her Irish heritage, especially Irish music. In her youth, she and her father enjoyed summers in Galway. As an adult, she carried forward that tradition, making sure each year included a family visit to Galway.

Eileen loved spending time near the water, from spending summers with her children at Tobay Beach to vacationing and later moving to Newport, RI. She also enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, like an ice cream on a hot summer day or watching a beautiful sunset from her home. She was always so proud of her children, Liam and Chloe.

Eileen was an accomplished accountant, dedicating her career to her profession with diligence and integrity. Her commitment to her work was matched by her devotion to her family.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on January 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Cremation Friday, January 30, 2026 at 9:00 AM at All Souls Crematory, 72-02 Astoria Blvd S, East Elmhurst, NY 11370.

Eileen will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared with those around her.
