Frances Iannone

Born on May 29, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, Frances lived a life full of love and surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Family was Frances’ true pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Joanne Iannone, Phyllis Hall (Scott), and Carol Werkmann (Mike) and her sister, Lucy Valle. Frances was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and a cherished Nonna to her 12 great-grandchildren, and two more on the way.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Vincent; her son, Al; and her daughter-in-law, Rose.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 19th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Blvd., Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Catholic Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 20th, at 9:45 AM at St. Kevin’s Church, 45-21 194th Street, Flushing, NY 11358. Entombment will follow at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
