

Raised in Brooklyn and Flushing, New York, Frances was the second of five children born to Genevieve and Leonard Pisciotta. She carried with her lifelong values of hard work, independence, and faith.
Frances devoted many years to public service through her work with the Queens Library system and later New York City Health & Hospitals. She was respected for her dedication and strong sense of responsibility.
In later years, Frances made her home in Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed gardening, caring for her property and her cats Patches, Sam, and Bruno, birdwatching, and the natural beauty that surrounded her.
She is survived by her daughter, Genette; son-in-law Vern, grandson, Vern Vincent; her sisters Grace (Ken), Lucille (Pete dec), Janet (Wayne); nieces, Sarah (Curtis), Rebecca; nephews, Zachary, Johnny, Wayne Jr, Charles; grand nieces Reese, Milly and grand nephew Brooks; relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 58-02 146th St, Flushing, NY 11355, US, on April 28, 2026, at 10:30 am
The committal service will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365, US, at 12:00 pm.
