It is with deep sorrow that the family of George Zalewski announces his passing on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the age of 74. Born to the late Stanley and Stella Zalewski, George was a devoted and loving son, brother, and uncle. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

George is the beloved brother of the late Stanley J. Zalewski, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews: Joy Llopiz, Vanessa Zalewski, Joey Zalewski, and John Zalewski. He was a proud and devoted great uncle to his beloved great-nieces and nephews, Tabitha, Erica, Sophia, and Jordan.

A passionate lover of the outdoors, George found joy in riding his bike, fishing, and following his beloved baseball. His warm spirit and love for nature brought joy to those who were lucky enough to spend time with him.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:30 at St. Josaphat's RC Church, 34-32 210th Street, Bayside, New Yorl 11361. Following the Mass, cremation will take place at All Souls Crematory, 72-02 Astoria Blvd., East Elmhurst, NY 11370.

George will always be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
