Giacomo Camarda

Giacomo was the beloved husband of Maria Camarda. He was a loving father to Lisa Sibilio and Francesco Camarda, and a cherished grandfather to Matthew Sibilio and the late Anthony Sibilio.

In the rhythms of everyday life, Giacomo found joy in simple, familiar pleasures—shopping for bread and food, sharing time over a meal, and returning to places he loved, including Rus Pizza in Brooklyn. He also took great enjoyment in soccer, and in time spent at the track, where his appreciation for horses was clear to anyone who knew him. In Sicily, he owned an Auto Body Shop, a life detail that reflected both his determination and the steady work ethic he carried with pride.

Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, New York, NY 11365, on Tueasday, May 5, 2026, from 11:15 am to 11:45 am.
