I sometimes think nothing will shock me anymore …. That notion ended on May 8,2021 at 5:45 PM when Barbara called JoAnn  and I to tell us Greg had passed.
JoAnn and I have known Barbra and Greg before they were married and we celebrated and enjoyed many events together.
Greg and I played touch football for many years together until we just could no longer keep up with the younger guys. For the record, Greg never admitted to that.
I have many memories of Greg all of which are good. He was a friend that would never let you down. Somehow or another he would call me on my birthday. It did not matter if he was working or not, I knew that some time on my birthday my phone would ring and Greg was there to say Happy Birthday.
Greg lived his life to the fullest. He loved a party. Barbara and Greg would always have a catered affair. He was all in dancing, laughing and making sure all guest were having a great time. 
Greg’s sense of humor was some time suspect as he would make some outlandish statement with a straight face …then he would just laugh.
Barbra and Greg are our “Forever Friends”. Greg you will be missed. On a personal note Greg say hello to Barabbas for us.

We loved Greg’s great sense of humor. A fond memory is Karaoke night at the Chinese restaurant when Greg, Derek , and Richard had their singing debut. Richard is still  surprised that they all got all got up to sing. We also have great memories of barbecues and summer days! We will miss Greg. May he rest in heavenly arms.

We miss you already! We shared the driveway with you for 18 “chai” years. Couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. You were always on the go, always doing something, and always willing to lend a helping hand. We always felt safe and protected because you were only a holler away. You were definitely the life of the party - and you were never shy about it - you loved hearing everyone laughing at your stories and remarks - we could count on you to say something colorful and off the charts. We shared some great laughs and we have many great memories across the fence ... you were a part of our family and we were blessed to have known you and have you in our lives. Dear Barbara and Roxanne, 
I was so sad to hear about the sudden passing of Greg. He was a good man . Whenever I drove down  175th Street he was always out working on his cars. He was so kind and  would  ask about the family.
I also remember his heartfelt words about my father when he too passed suddenly. I pray that he is at peace . He will live in your hearts forever. 
He will be missed.

Barbara and Roxanne, we were so sorry to hear that Greg passed away.  Don’t know if it was sudden or he had been sick but we were shocked to hear it.  We moved to Huntington Station last June during the beginning of the pandemic and never got a chance  to say goodbye to all my Holy Family friends. Greg will certainly be missed by me. We first met in 1968 as Police Trainees in the NYPD. He was such a influence on all the trainees  because not only of his leadership qualities but also his great sense of humor which got us through the Police Academy.  I will cherish all the years I knew him and the great time we had at our 50th anniversary reunion of our Police Academy Class.

Dear Greg I will miss you forever. You were my friend and neighbor for 49 years and when I was alone you always came to my rescue and helped me out. We celebrated many happy occasions together and some sad ones  I will never forget you. Eva. 

Greg, you will be greatly missed. You were the life of all our family parties, a good friend and neighbor. A kind and thoughtful being who was always willing to help or lend a hand especially to my mother. A great sense of humor and who's sympathetic words for my father I will never forget. Your thoughtfulness was further evident in your caring for homeless cats. You worked hard and all the time with boundless energy much to be admired. You touched our family's hearts and will be remembered always with great love and fond memories. May peace be with you.
