When I heard the news about Khiron, I was devastated and unable to feel or express anything other than heartbreak.

After watching the streamed service on Saturday, I'm finally grasping how a person as young as Khiron has left his mark on the world as well as anyone can hope to in their lifetime.

The effect we have on others is the most valuable aspect of our lives.  Everything else we create or own will simply turn to dust.  
Khiron was a pure and loving soul who touched and inspired so many of us.

Now is the time to have faith and know that Khiron's soul lives on and that he is among us.  

Our physical bodies are not who we are, we are the light that shines through the facade.  

We are the light that exists in a universe where there is no separation of time or space. 

Trust and follow your feelings, thoughts, and dreams knowing that Khiron is still with us.

Khiron I found out your mom Alicia was pregnant with you the day I gave birth to your cousin Devontae, it seems like only yesterday. I have had the pleasure of watching you grow up into a wonderful young man. I'll safe keep the many memories of us going on family vacations, family gatherings and birthday parties. I will miss hearing you call me Aunt ReRe with that beautiful smile of yours. Goodbyes are only for those who  love with their eyes. For those that love with their heart and soul there can be no separation. Now soar with the angels.

        Since day one we would do so much stuff together, from sports to videos games to birthday parties and vacations. Whatever it was, I knew it would be ten times better if I knew you were going to be there. You have blessed this earth with ur present for 24 years and I still can’t comprehend all that has happened. I know you are happy, looking down at us and smiling and I can’t wait to see you again so we can be happy together, creating new memories similar to the old ones I’ll never forget. I love you cuz, rest in paradise🕊💙

As I'm still trying to process this loss of my cousin Khiron, I often find myself reminiscing over times we've shared. Looking through old photo albums, so many of my earliest memories, and even before then, were made with you. Realizing how close we were, making me wish we had spent more time together while you were still here.

Khiron,
You will forever be in my memory. You always emitted such a great energy, you were always positive, always smiling. I’m looking forward to the day where I’ll see that smile again. I’m looking forward to the day I’ll hear your laugh, and to the day we get to do something creative day together again. To Khiron’s family, I’m sorry for the pain you are going through, I cannot even imagine. However, the time and memories you have with Khiron will live on forever.

We have known you from that special day of your birth, as neighbors we shared many special moments, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the list goes on and on. You have been such a big part of our lives, as neighbors we were in and out each other houses it felt like we were family.  You were so very respectful always addressing us as aunty and uncle and always greeted us with hugs and kisses and of course your winning smile. We have watched you grow from a baby to a fine young man that would make any parent proud to have.  It was such a pleasure/blessing to have had you in our lives.  May you find eternal peace and happiness until the day all our families reunite.  we will always love you and your family, and will always hold you dear in our hearts and lives. The world has lost the next great fashion icon, a wonderful human being & the chance to be in the company of a kindness and caring that spans every race, religion or belief. He was named for the stars & he truly shined brightly. We're going to miss you K.

Khiron is one of the sweetest and purest souls I’ve ever known. Truly such an amazing and sweet person.  We are friends from high school who have great memories but had even greater laughs together. I’m so sad you are no longer earthside but comforted by the fact you are a guardian angel to all of us, and your soul and spirit lives on. I pray you are at peace now. I pray for strength, healing and peace for your parents, family, and close friends. You are loved and missed.. 🤎

Condolences to my brother Len and Alicia. Khiron was a wonderful, unforgettable, charming young man.  You both did well in growing such a sweet, calm  handsome gentleman. Cherish his memories I will too.

Khiron is my cousin. We didn't get a chance to fully know each other in person, but we did meet and I had to reach up and give him a big hug. His smile was the first thing I actually noticed. My heart goes out to our family, especially to his mother Alicia. I send my love, hugs and prayers.

Words cannot express the sadness of this loss.  We have known Khiron since birth.  Playdates, babysitting, barbeques, Disney World, birthday parties, dinners, family gatherings...the list goes on. My fondest memory of Khiron is your special name for me...aunt Lys, your contagious smile, your absolute insane knowledge of basketball players, and the way you touched so many lives.  I cannot quite believe you are gone, but I pray you are at peace. Loved beyond words, missed without measure.

On this day my cousin Khiron came over to celebrate my birthday.  We had great food, lots of laughs and a bunch of fun. I really miss and love him.  I will always remember you Khiron. I love you!
