Lucy P. Lesica

Lucy P. Lesica, a beloved and cherished member of the Bayside, New York, community, passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 28, 1933, in Croatia, Lucy was known for her compassionate and kind-hearted nature.

Lucy was the beloved wife of the late John. Mother to Nancy, son in law Bill, late Anthony, daughter in law Jennine. Grandma to Jacquelyn, Johnny, and Stacy. Lucy was the daughter of the late Nikola and Dinka Feretic. Adored sister to Tonic, Stefo, and the late Ann. Dear aunt, cousin, and godmother.

A devoted Catholic, Lucy loved to cook, craft, and crochet. She took great joy in doting on her grandchildren and was known as a social butterfly within her community.

Visitation will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on June 22, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 215-35 38th Ave, Bayside, NY 11361, on June 23, 2025. Interment will follow at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on June 23, 2025.

Lucy's kindness and compassion will always be remembered. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
