Recently found about Manny's passing and tried to reach out through FB to his family. Met Manny in 1980's NYTEL lifetime friends. Reread old emails where you told me to get out and dance. I love you my friend and love to Tia Marta and your family.

My gift to you this year is to make sure that we keep your memory alive. To share stories. To watch videos. To look at pictures. To do the things you loved. To make sure that for the rest of my life, you will always be near.

Happy 61st birthday, Dad. We miss you terribly and love you endlessly. Today we celebrate you.

Dear Rodriguez family,  this is Chris from pergola restaurant on 46th st, please accept my deepest condolences  on the passing of your beloved Manny,  I am so sad to hear of his passing, he was one of the incest people I ever met, Manny personality would light up the room, he couldn't have been more generous than the way he treated me when there was an event at Roseland,  he made me feel so special,  may he rest in peace, he will be missed everyday, the restaurant is closed at the moment,  we hope to reopen in the fall, I would love to have a memorial for Manny when we reopen , God bless

First and foremost, I am incredibly sorry for your loss. There is something I have always admired about Manny, which I would like to share.

Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of knowing Manny very well. However, on the many occasions I did get to spend time with him, I cannot think of a single moment when he was ever down. Even as his health began to deteriorate, he was still the same happy-go-lucky guy I always knew him to be. Manny was very hospitable, and he always seemed to be telling stories and laughing. With that being said, I hope his memory will continue to bring all of you laughter and cheerfulness.
